On a very wet Sunday Feargal Kilfeather returned a card of
36 points, one ahead of Joe Doherty. Thomas Mc Clafferty
was third on 33pts.. The soup, organised by incoming captain
James O Meara, was a very welcome treat afterwards. The
AGM takes place on Friday 15th, at 8:00 pm , all welcome
and please make an effort to be there. Cloughaneely play
Dunfanaghy this Saturday an current club and team captain,
Brian Mc Gee has the necessary phone numbers. The
Last Man Standing is down to 74 with Liverpool and City

Falcarragh’s St. patrick’s Day Parade will take place on
Sun. 17th March at 3.30pm. All community groups, schools,
businesses and anyone interested are invited to take part. For

Can’t Pay Won’t Pay


Members from Co. Donegal campaigns opposing austerity
(Can’t Pay Won’t Pay Cloch Cheann Fhaola, Donegal
Action Against Austerity and Can’t Pay Won’t Pay Donegal
Inclusive), attended a large rally in Sligo on Saturday 9th
February which was organised by the Irish Congress of
Trade Unions (ICTU). Organisers estimated upwards of
6,000 people attended from counties around the North West.
Other protest marches took place in Dublin, Cork, Galway,
Limerick and Waterford. Upwards of 100,000 protestors in
total attended nationwide with a message to the government
that austerity is not working and the citizens of the country
are saying ‘enough is enough’.

you interested in learning about growing? Would you like to
be part of the ‘Green’ team who meet up at the YARD? Then

and community garden at the YARD to ‘sign-up’ for
2013. We already have a number of local men who would
like to get together to get the indoor and outdoor raised beds
operational and planted up for the start of the season. Come

A reminder to all U15 & U16s that training will take
place this Thursday evening from 7 - 8pm in the school

– 11. Get back on track, get motivated and dedicated and you
will be guaranteed to see and feel the results. Creel Making:
Funding has been received from Donegal VEC to run a creel
making class in Magheroarty Community Centre. To do this we
need to know in advance how much willow to order, if you’re
interested or would like to find out more please call Mary on
0863174260. We would hope to run this course over a weekend
in March. Cost of course including materials is €65.
