Na Pictuirí sa YARD
On Monday 20th February we will be
screening The Big Sleep. This 1946 film noir
is based upon Raymond Chandler’s 1939
novel of the same name. It stars Humphrey
Bogart as detective Philip Marlowe, and
Lauren Bacall as the female lead. The
film production capitalised on the sizzling
chemistry between Bogart and Bacall. Their
relationship at the time was an open secret
in Hollywood. A donation of €3 is suggested
to cover room hire and running costs. Eolas:
