Thriller for Haiti

On the 26th June at 8.30p.m. the Crossroads of Falcarragh were taken over by zombies dancing Michael Jackson's 'Thriller'. This totally unique fundraising event paid tribute to the late Michael Jackson and raised money for the Haiti disaster.

Our very own nationally recognised Banna Ceoil Cloich Cheann Fhaola, who this year appeared on "Ireland's Got Talent, threw away their instruments and tuned up their vocal chords to sing a medley of MJ tunes.

Our highly entertaining Cloughaneely Drama Group performed a specially written skit and, as always, provided us with plenty of laughs.

Annemarie Mc Cafferty’s School of Irish Dancing danced their very own "Thriller Riverdance"... which was definitely not one to miss!!

Theresa Kavanagh's extremely talented Comhaltas group performed their own take on some Michael Jackson's tunes keeping us all entertained throughout the evening.

'Moonwalker' Keith Gallagher wowed us with his moves and songs... we wondered was MJ dead at all!

Finally the excellent "Thriller for Haiti" performers performed the famous Thriller dance at the crossroads to the delight of crowds lining the streets of Falcarragh.

Many thanks to all who took part and came to watch!

Thanks also to John Conaghan for the great photos!
